Abstract

An edition of three cuneiform tablets in the Akkadian language that were composed in the thirteenth-century BCE in the region of the great bend of the Euphrates, when the area was subject to rule by the Hittite viceroy in Carchemish. All are laid out and inscribed in the local “Free Format,” as befits their contents reflecting the economic concerns of the inhabitants of Emar and its vicinity.
